Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule and NNU Held the Second Confucius Classroom Council
On March 7th, 2023, Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule and Nanjing Normal University held the second session of the Confucius Classroom Council both online and offline. Tianjun Cheng, vice president of NNU, President Yufen Zhou and Vice President Xuan Liang of Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule attend the meeting.



Tianjun Cheng appreciated the hard work of the Confucius Classroom staff at Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule. He said that he was very pleased to see the video message sent in Chinese by the students of Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule to celebrate the 120th anniversary of NNU. It showed that the Confucius Classroom has made real achievements in promoting international Chinese education. NNU firmly supports the development of the Confucius Classroom, hoping that it will further promote Chinese teaching and cultural activities through innovation.
Throughout 2022, the Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule Confucius Classroom has made gratifying achievements in local Chinese teacher employment, the HSK exams, Sino-German sister school construction and all kinds of selection. Kaifen Zhou felt glad to attend the Confucius Classroom Council offline, hoping that the two schools can make greater breakthroughs in 2023.
The second session of the Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule Confucius Classroom reviewed and approved the 2022 work report, the 2023 work plan and the 2023 budget of the Confucius Classroom. NNU and Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule reached an agreement on the employment of local Chinese teachers, the HSK exams and the 30th anniversary celebration of Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule. Both expressed their expectation to explore the development of Chinese language education to attract more German students to learn Chinese, understand China and love Chinese culture. It is expected that Hanhua Chinesisch-Schule and NNU will take the work of Confucius Classroom to a new level and jointly contribute to the promotion of international Chinese language education and the dissemination of excellent Chinese culture.
Zhijun Yan, chief of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at NNU, and Deputy Chief Yan Wei, also office director of the Confucius Institute at NNU, attended the meeting.
