Ⅰ. Application Period

Ⅱ. Application Procedures
• Log in the online application system of Nanjing Normal University: https://njnu.17gz.org/, fill in the application information online.
• Please wait for the admission results, which will be notified by email in mid to late June.

Ⅲ. Contents of the Scholarship
• Eligibility: undergraduate students (English-taught major), master’s students, doctoral students.
• Tuition is covered and on-campus accommodation is provided.
• Living allowance: 1,000 yuan per month for undergraduates, 1,500 yuan per month for master's students, and 2,500 yuan per month for doctoral students.
• Insurance fee: 800 yuan per academic year, scholarship students need to purchase comprehensive medical insurance as required during the school period.
Ⅳ. Application Materials
• Passport (valid for more than one year, if you are currently in China, please provide the first page of the passport and the page of the residence permit).
• Notarized certificate of the highest academic qualification. If you are a current student, a certificate of expected graduation or proof of enrollment issued by the school you are studying in must be submitted (and after being admitted the graduation certificate and degree certificate must be submitted).
• Academic transcripts (Graduate applicants: from undergraduate level). Documents in other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by notarized translations in Chinese or English.
• Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide proof of Chinese proficiency. HSK5 (above 180 points) is required for master's degree and HSK6 (above 180 points) is required for doctoral application.
• Applicants for English-taught majors need to provide TOEFL/IELTS score certificate or proof of English-taught education from the previous degree, with a TOEFL score of 85 or above, and an IELTS score of 6.5 or above.
• 2 recommendation letters.（Graduate applicants）
• The study plan during the postgraduate period, written in Chinese/English, more than 1,000 words, which should focus on the applicant's willingness to study in China, understanding of China and Chinese institutions, as well as the background of the previous academic institution and his own disciplinary background, research direction and expected research results.
• Physical examination form (the examination results are valid for 6 months).
• Non-criminal record, which should be a supporting document within 6 months before the date of submitting the application.
• Students applying to study music and art majors should provide their own works.
• Acceptance letter from the supervisor.（Master's and doctoral applicants）
• Proof of personal financial ability or financial guarantee certificate. If financial support is provided by others, please fill in the Financial Guarantee Form for International Students of Nanjing Normal University and submit the corresponding materials.
Ⅴ. Notes
• Please ensure the authenticity of the application materials, once found that there is untrue content in the application materials, you will be disqualified from admission and will not be allowed to apply for Nanjing Normal University again within 2 years.
• The materials mentioned above shall be provided in English or Chinese. Materials in any other languages should be notarized in Chinese or English.
• Please make sure that the mailing address filled in the online application is valid. If you are admitted, we will mail the admission materials according to the address.
