2. Program Duration and Credit

Three years generally, the maximum school years are not longer than 5 years (including the extension time).
32 credits of courses in total, at least 22 credits of academic courses.

3. Core Courses and Introduction

Intermediate Microeconomics
The course explains how to solve problems and make policy analysis based on Microeconomics Theory. In addition to teaching the basic Microeconomics theory, it also analyses the theory and its practical application from the point of view of many important fields of contemporary economics, including behavioral economics, resource economics, transaction cost analysis, labor economics, international trade, public finance, industrial organization theory and so on. It includes theoretical study and scientific research training. Requirements for The M.A.Degree are as follows:

• students are required to report their research progress and existing problems, and analyze the scientific significance of research progress and the direction of further work with teachers, if necessary, to explore the ideas and methods of solutions to questions;
• students should introduce the latest research results or forward issues of the currently development, and discuss the scientific significance of the results or progress, with the enlightenment and application for their research work;
• The students are required to communicate and discuss the subject-related literature reading.

Intermediate Macroeconomics
This course is based on solving the practical problems, and it considers the students' requirements of understanding and discussion of many macroeconomic issues. It also examines the traditional topics from the perspective of contemporary macroeconomics, and analyses the determinants of long-run economic growth, balance of trade and the flow of funds, labor market and other important macroeconomic issues. It includes theoretical study and scientific research training.

Intermediate Econometric
It integrates the theory and application of econometric. Based on the primary level, it also absorbs the contents of intermediate level. Based on the classical linear model, it also introduces some appropriate extended model. And it emphasizes the application of econometric software EViews to solve practical economic problems, and integrates it with Chinese realities. It includes theoretical study and scientific research training.

Research on Socialist Economic System
It takes The Marx doctrine of dialectical materialism and historical materialism as macro guidance. Based on the logical analysis, it researches the intrinsic relationship between the economic globalization of backward nation coping style and the historical evolution of the socialist economic system. Based on the historical analysis, it studies the influence on the different stages of development of economic globalization in the establishment of the socialist system and the formation and changes of socialist economic system. It includes theoretical study and scientific research training.

Research in Political Economy
It takes Marx's economics as its core, and it constantly develops in the process of socialist construction in China and it provides the basic theory and basic tools for the study of economics. The research direction includes two aspects: One is Marx's political economics; another is Chinese characteristic socialism theoretical system. It includes theoretical study and scientific research training. Requirements for The M.A.Degree are as follows:
