Administrative Management
1. Program Description
The Administrative Management program based on the guiding ideology of undergraduate training that“wide caliber, thick foundation, show personality, emphasis on innovation”.Through the learning and training of the administration, management, political science, law and other relevant knowledge and skills ,to cultivate the compound type, application type and academic administration talent with the sustainable development potential and innovative spirit. After graduation from this program,the students can enter the party and government organs, enterprises, social organizations and other relevant departments engaged in the administrative management and the scientific research work, but also for further studies.
2. Program Duration and Credit
This is a four-year undergraduate program, which can be completed within a minimum of three years and a maximum of seven years.
A total of 151credits are required upon the completion of the program.
3. Curriculum
Three modules of courses are offered for the program: Basic Curriculum, Essential Curriculum, and Elective Curriculum. The Basic and Essential curricula are compulsory for a Bachelor’s degree.
The Elective Curriculum in the list includes extended disciplinary courses offered by the school into which an individual student is admitted, as well as cross disciplinary courses offered by other schools. Students can choose the extended and cross disciplinary courses according to their personal interests and career plans; however, credits should be approved by the School.

Through the introduction and interpretation of the basic principle of management, to make students master the basic management expertise, and combined with case to deepen students understanding of management theory and methods, and can understand correctly in the actual management of the general issues.
Management mainly studies management activities from the perspective of general theories, principles and characteristics so as to find out the common regularity. It is one of the professional core courses applicable to students major in management. The course of “Management - Principles and Cases” takes the case as the main method of guidance, uniting various principles and management functions through it. The contents mainly divided into two parts, the first part focuses on the basic theory, including management-related understanding, management development ideas and various incentive-based theories by the context of human nature hypothesis, which is the basis and tools of understanding the various functions of management activities. The second part is on the specific aspects of management activities, that is the five specific management functions: planning, organization, leadership, regulation, transformation and innovation, which is the dynamic knowledge experience of a combination of theory and practice, by selecting cases combined with the respective classical chapters, to strengthen the practical understanding of the management activities. During the period arranges practice activities, such program can be developed by students to manage their own programs to enhance the ability of knowledge usage. Theory without application is a prattfer, skills without theory is at best a technician. Thus, the effective manager =theory + application +idealization. According to students situation, the course encourages students more involved in class discussions, exerts the subjective roles of the students, in order to lay a solid foundation of professional knowledge.

Foundation of politics is the basis of the administrative management professional undergraduate course, the purpose is to through the learning theory of political science, make students understand the basic principles of political science, grasp the basic political common sense, to have the ability to interpret political phenomenon of preliminary and further develop interest in political science, and enhance the ability of political thinking, set up the correct political ideas, improve political flair.
Foundation of politics is the basis of the administrative management professional backbone course. It in analysis and study of political science, on the basis of the basic concept and the basic content, from the political subject, political culture, political system and political activities, reveals the political phenomenon and the political activities of the basic structure, basic characteristics and the inherent law of development.

The course introduces students to the major theory and method in the field of public administration and arranges around a number of prominent themes that focus on the analysis and ability of administration. Public Administration is an exciting and fascinating field of study. Students completing this course should be familiar with the academic research, policy analysis and practice of management.
Public administration combines theory and practice which refers to two distinguishable but closely related activities, a professional practice and an academic field which seeks to understand, develop, criticize, and improve that professional practice as well as to train individuals for that practice. Public administration refers to the mechanisms and institutions through which public policy is put into effect and to the academic discipline that studies these mechanisms. Public administration is based on the observation and logic to acquire the capacity of solving social and organizational problems, helps the students to understand the practice, theory and technology of public administration.

This course aims to educate a new generation of public policy-makers and policy analysts. The course provides an accessible assessment of a wide range of theories and models from policy cycles, policy transfer, rational choice and socio-economic explanations to multi-level governance, advocacy coalitions and punctuated equilibrium and of their value to policy analysis. The programme draws on the disciplines of political science, economics, law, public management. Students develop a working knowledge of particular aspects of political science theory relevant to understanding how public policies are formulated. They gain a basic understanding of economic approaches to public policy analysis and of the concepts of economic efficiency and equity as societal objectives.

Public Sector Economics is a popular topic of contemporary interdisciplinary study. Public Economics is also called new political economics, government economics, public sector economics. Its main object of study is government's economic activities and impact on the economy of other government actions.
It includes two aspects, namely, the investigation of government’s economic behavior and political factors influence policy analysis, including:
(1) an overall description of the Public Economics;
(2) explore the basis for government intervention in the economy;
(3) compare and analyze the government's economic behavior;
(4) conduct political analysis on government's economic activities.
