Recently, the short-term exchange program of Aichi Shukutoku University held by the International College for Chinese Studies (ICCS) started at Suiyuan campus.
At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Chong Shen, the Deputy Dean of ICCS, warmly welcomed the arrival of the 12 Japanese students. He introduced the basic information of Nanjing Normal University and the long history of Chinese language training in ICCS. Besides, he also recalled the deep cooperative relationship over 20 years between Aichi Shukutoku University and ICCS. His cordial and humorous words made all the students feel comfortable and relaxed. Later, Officers Furong Feng and Yaochen Yang explained detailed precautions and the project arrangement. After the ceremony, all the students and teachers took a photo in front of the No.200 Building.
The exchange program lasted for three weeks, during which the 12 students had lots of activities like taking Chinese language training courses, experiencing traditional Chinese culture, visiting places of interest and communicating with young students.
"This program not only extends the traditional communication and cooperation between Aichi Shukutoku University and Nanjing Normal University, but also plays a positive role in the friendly communication between people of both countries, especially the young generation," Chong Shen said.
