Dr. Vadim Gladyshev

Dr. Vadim Gladyshev’s research on mechanisms of aging and longevity combines computational and experimental approaches and uses mammalian cell culture and mice as main experimental models. The lab is located in the Harvard Medical School New Research Building, a premier facility where many programs in genetics, genomics and chemical biology are located. He is also an Associate Member of the Broad Institute and has previously published approximately 330 articles, mostly on selenium, redox biology, comparative genomics, and aging. Recently, he has been honored by NIH Director’s Pioneer award (NIH, 2013), Redox Pioneer (Antioxidants and Redox Signaling, 2016), Osborne and Mendel Award (American Society for Nutrition, 2018).
