Xiaolin Zhou, Professor, doctoral supervisor, and Ph.D. in psychology, Cambridge University, UK, is currently a member of the School Committee of Peking University, director of the Brain Science and Cognitive Science Center, member of the psychological discipline evaluation group of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, chairman of the Psychology Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, distinguished professor of Yangtze River scholars of the Ministry of education, executive director of the China Disabled People's Career Development Research Association, and former director of Director of Psychology Department, Peking University and President of the Chinese Psychological Society.
In 2001, he won the China Youth Science and Technology Award. In 2004, he won the first prize of Natural Science Award of Institutions of Higher Learning of the Ministry of education, and in 2008, he guided doctoral students to win the National Hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award. He is the corresponding fellow of Rodin Rehabilitation Academy and is appointed as member of editorial committe of Journal of Psychology, Progress of Psychological Science, Language, Cognition, and Neuroscience, International Journal of Cognitive Informatics and other domestic and foreign psychological journals. He is also the deputy editor in chief of Psychological Science and deputy editor in chief of BMC Neuroscience (member of executive editorial committee). His researches are mainly about language cognition, attention selection and executive control, decision-making and neuroeconomics, social cognition and experimental social psychology. More than 100 papers of him have been published in SCI and SSCI journals such as PNAs, Journal of Neuroscience, etc., and he has been successively selected into the list of Chinese highly cited scholars (Psychology) published by Elsevier.
