Professor Wei Wang received Bachelor of Chemistry degree from USTC (University of Science and Technology of China) in 2004, then he obtained Doctorate from USTC in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, he studied as postdoctoral fellow in Arizona State University. He has been the Professor of Nanjing University since 2013. He was one of the young overseas talents selected in the national plan Thousand Talents Program. His major research interests include optical microscopy, electroanalytical chemistry, single cell and single molecule assays. He is dedicated in the study of the fundamental theory of the surface plasmon resonance which is a new optical imaging technique, and its applications in single-cell imaging and nanometer Electrochemistry and other fields. More than 50 research papers of Professor Wang have been published in academic journals such as Nature Chemistry, PNAS, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Anal. Chem.
