Can harmful algal blooms be controlled?

WHEN:
Friday, 2018, August 24 - 10:00
SPONSOR:
School of Life Sciences, Nanjing Normal University
SPEAKER(s):
Alan E. Wilson
DETAILS:

Alan E. Wilson graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. He is currently an associate professor at Auburn University. His study focuses on how differences between intraspecies and interspecies in aquatic ecosystems affect bio-community patterns and evolution along the food chain gradient, relationships between zooplankton and phytoplankton during blue algae outbreaks, water bloom prediction through model systems, and the impact of species invasion on biological community structure. His related research papers were published in internationally renowned journals such as Water Research, Ecology, Limnology and Oceanography, Environmental Pollution, Great influence, etc.
