Yi Long is a professor and Ph. D supervisor from the School of Geography Science. In 2017, he was selected in the third batch of candidates for the Ten Thousand Talents Program. The workstation of graduate students he is responsible for setting up won the honor “Excellent Workstation of Jiangsu Province in 2017”. He is also in charge of the Digital Mount Lu Geography Field Practice Platform, and because of his good teaching model he won a special award called the Nanjing Normal University Teaching Achievement Prize. Under his guidance, the Jiangning Tourism Big Data Platform his team built was awarded as an Intelligent Tourism Demonstration Project of Jiangsu Province in 2017. The two projects he participates in, Indoor and Outdoor Multi-mode Co-location Service Interface (ranking first) and Indoor Multidimensional Location Information Markup Language (ranking third), have been officially announced as national standard.
