Rongfang Gu

Rongfang Gu is a professor and Ph.D supervisor from the School of Education Science. Under her leadership, the NNU pre-school education team has made several achievements in strengthening the discipline, including passing the second-level professional pedagogical certification of the Ministry of Education with the best results in China, building a first-class undergraduate discipline in Jiangsu, and being rated as one of the national first-class undergraduate disciplines. Her course “Health Education for Pre-school Children” is recognized as a national level online course open to everyone, in which she answered all the questions from tens of thousands of online students. She was awarded the “Eighth Yixi Elite Teacher of Nanjing Normal University” and then donated the whole 30,000 yuan bonus she received to students in need. As a member of the Party Committee of the School of Education Science, she supported the work of her branch secretary, making her branch a “National Model Branch in Party Construction” of the Ministry of Education. She presides over a national outstanding training and reform project of the Ministry of Education for kindergarten teachers, and won the second prize of the national teaching achievement as the team leader, the special prize of Jiangsu Teaching Achievement Award, and another 4 provincial and ministerial outstanding achievement awards.
