Ling Lu

Ling Lu is a professor and Ph.D supervisor from the School of Life Sciences. She won the title of “2019 Jiangsu College Outstanding Communist Party Member”. She is currently the director of the Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Microbiology and Functional Genomics, was an evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China from 2015 to 2019, a trustee of the Mycological Society of China, and a member of the editorial department of many international professional magazines for filamentous fungi. She completed key projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China with outstanding results. She is now doing research for a China-German international cooperation project and one general project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and serves as the head of the outstanding scientific and technological innovation team of Jiangsu universities. In 2019, one of her projects was approved as a national key R&D project. For many years, she has been committed to the resource mining and molecular regulation mechanism research of functional genes of filamentous fungi and has achieved a series of scientific research achievements, including publishing 6 papers in “Nature Index” journals. Her research has been cited by international high-level journals and one of her papers is highly cited. She has been invited as a special representative to give reports at international academic conferences and summit forums. And her team’s research on the resistance mechanism of Aspergillus were published online by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS) on December 6, 2019, being reviewed by other well-known experts in this field.
